La Poesia che si vede è un concorso internazionale di videopoesia con sede ad Ancona, organizzato dall’Associazione Nie Wiem. È una derivazione del festival di poesia La Punta della Lingua e del festival di cinema Corto Dorico. La Poesia che si vede ha tenuto la sua prima edizione a Luglio 2021. La terza edizione del concorso avrà luogo nel mese di Giugno 2023.
CONCORSO INTERNAZIONALE DI VIDEOPOESIA
La Poesia che si vede si propone di esplorare il mondo della videopoesia internazionale e i/le suoi/e autori/trici. Il concorso ha come missione la sfida di ricercare, promuovere e sostenere nuovi sguardi, poetiche, visioni. Dal testo cinetico al testo sonoro, dal testo visivo alla cin(e)poesia fino alla performance filmata, la videopoesia per La Poesia che si vede è poesia totale, senza discriminazioni di genere o formato.
Il Premio Franco Scataglini, dedicato non casualmente al poeta che nel secolo scorso ha saputo proiettare Ancona al centro del mondo della poesia italiana per capacità formale e visionaria non disgiunta dall’attenzione alla pittura, sarà conferito da una giuria di esperti di cinema e poesia.
Condizioni per la partecipazione
- Ogni autore potrà concorrere con un massimo di due opere.
- Sono ammesse al concorso opere in qualsiasi lingua. Per le opere in lingua diversa dall’italiano, sarà necessario fornire i relativi sottotitoli italiani e/o inglesi, tramite file .srt /.rtf /.txt /.sub oppure sovraimpressi sul video dell’opera.
- Le opere ammesse al concorso dovranno possedere i seguenti requisiti per non risultare escluse:
- avere durata non superiore a 20 minuti compresi i titoli;
- essere state completate dopo il 1° gennaio 2019;
- non essere state selezionate come finaliste in edizioni precedenti del concorso;
- non costituire filmati pubblicitari o industriali.
In caso di esclusione dal concorso per il mancato rispetto dei requisiti a), b), e c) la quota di iscrizione di cui al successivo art. 4 non verrà rimborsata.
4. La partecipazione al concorso richiede una quota di iscrizione di € 10 (dieci Euro/00). La quota permette l’invio fino a 2 (due) videopoesie e non varia qualora si decida di inviare un solo lavoro. Qualora ad inviare la/le videopoesie sia un produttore e/o distributore, questi sarà tenuto a versare tante quote quante sono le opere iscritte, qualora siano ciascuna di autori differenti. Nel caso il produttore e/o distributore iscrivesse più lavori dello stesso autore (rispettando il limite massimo di due opere per ogni singolo autore) potrà avvalersi del versamento di una sola quota per coppia di film. Le iscrizioni devono essere ultimate entro e non oltre le ore 24.00 del 22 maggio 2023
- All’atto dell’iscrizione si raccomanda la compilazione di tutti i campi previsti nella scheda (dati anagrafici, contatti, bio, sinossi, foto film, foto sia del poeta sia del regista).
- Formati accettati: mp4 / Quicktime Apple ProRes HQ / H264. Risoluzione: 1920 x 1080 pixel oppure 2048×1080

Norme Generali
- Non saranno prese in considerazione opere pervenute incomplete o illeggibili.
- Il firmatario dell’iscrizione dichiara di essere titolare di tutti i diritti di utilizzazione dell’opera e di ogni suo componente; assicura che i contenuti della stessa sono nella sua disponibilità e non violano le leggi o i regolamenti vigenti o i diritti dei terzi e in particolare il diritto d’autore, il diritto all’immagine, i segni distintivi e i brevetti per invenzioni industriali; assicura e dichiara, inoltre, che l’opera non presenta contenuti a carattere diffamatorio. In ogni caso il partecipante manleva l’organizzazione da tutte le perdite, danni, responsabilità, costi, oneri e spese di qualsivoglia natura che dovessero essere sostenute a causa del contenuto dell’opera e della sua proiezione in pubblico.
- Le opere iscritte non verranno restituite e costituiranno parte del patrimonio dell’archivio dell’Organizzazione del Festival. Esse potranno essere mostrate per scopi culturali e didattici senza fini di lucro. L’Organizzazione si riserva il diritto di utilizzare il materiale pervenuto per eventuali successive manifestazioni con l’obbligo di citare la fonte ed informarne preventivamente gli autori o i detentori dei diritti.
- Il pagamento dei premi avverrà a 90/120 giorni dalla conclusione della manifestazione.
PREMI EDIZIONE 2023
Tra tutte le opere di videopoesia pervenute, il comitato artistico selezionerà un ristretto numero di film finalisti che saranno presentati in una serata dedicata alla rassegna, prevista per la fine di Giugno 2023 e programmata all’interno del festival La Punta della Lingua 2023, e conferirà il Premio Franco Scataglini per la migliore videopoesia. Il premio dell’edizione 2023 sarà di €500.
Il vincitore del premio sarà rivelato pubblicamente dopo la proiezione dei lavori finalisti.
La presenza del/della vincitore/trice o di persona nominata a rappresentarlo, compatibilmente con la possibilità di spostarsi dal proprio Paese, è altamente consigliata per l’assegnazione del premio in denaro.
Sarà inoltre assegnato il Premio del Pubblico, votato dagli spettatori presenti in sala.

Organization
La Poesia che si vede is an international competition for poetry films based in Ancona, Italy. It is organized by Associazione Nie Wiem and it’s the product of the collaboration between two important festivals: La Punta della Lingua International Poetry Festival and Corto Dorico Film Festival. The first edition of La Poesia che si vede was held in July 2021. Its third edition will take place in June 2023.
INTERNATIONAL POETRY FILM COMPETITION
La Poesia che si vede aims to explore the world of international poetry film and its authors. The underlying mission of the competition rests in the challenge of researching, promoting and supporting new artistic gazes, poetics, and visions. From kinetic text to sound text, from visual text to cine-poetry, up to the filmed performance, poetry film for La Poesia che si vede is total poetry, without discrimination of genre or format.
The Franco Scataglini Prize, dedicated to the poet who, in the last century, was able to project Ancona into the centre of the world of Italian poetry for his formal and visionary ability (not separated from his attention to painting), will be awarded by a jury of film and poetry experts.
Film Registration rules and regulations
- Each participant is allowed to submit a maximum of 2 (two) works.
- The competition will accept works by authors of any nationality and language. For works in languages other than Italian, the participant will also have to provide subtitles either in Italian or in English. The subtitles must be in .srt /.rtf /.txt /.sub formats or hardcoded on the film’s video file.
- To be considered for selection the submitted works must meet the following requirements:
a) be no longer than 20 minutes (including titles);
b) be completed after January 1st, 2019;
c) they must not have been selected as finalists in previous editions of La Poesia che si vede;
d) industrial or commercial films are not accepted.
Failure to comply with the requirements of the aforementioned a), b), c), and d) points will result in the exclusion from the competition and the non-reimbursement of the registration fee.
4. The payment of a 10€ (ten Euros/00) entry fee is required to be allowed to participate. The payment of the fee entitles directors to submit up to 2 (two) short films and does not change if only one film is submitted.
If the submitter is a film producer and/or a distributor, he/she will be required to pay as many fees as the submitted works, if they are each by different directors. If the producer and/or distributor submits more works done by the same director (respecting the maximum limit of two works per author) he will be entitled to the payment of only one fee per pair of films.

Submission must be sent by and no later than midnight, 22th of May 2023
5. Upon registration, all of the form fields must be filled in, including: personal info, contacts, bio and portrait of both the director and the poet; synopsis and still shots of the film.
6. Acceptable video formats are: mp4 / Quicktime Apple ProRes HQ / H264.
Resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixel or 2048×1080.

General Rules
a. Incomplete or illegible submitted copies will not be considered for selection.
b. Filmmakers and/or producers and/or distributors are responsible for the content of their works. By entering the competition they automatically acknowledge that they have fulfilled any obligations towards third parties, including royalties, copyright image rights, brands and patents for industrial inventions; they must ensure and declare that the work does not contain defamatory content. In any case the participant releases the organization from all liability, from any and all losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses whatsoever that may be incurred due to the content of the work and of its public screening.
c. These regulations have been formulated in Italian and English. In case of dispute, the Italian language version will be final.
d. The submitted works will not be returned and will become part of the archives of Nie Wiem. They will eventually be shown for non-profit cultural and educational purposes. The Organization reserves the right to show the short films received for future events with the obligation to cite the source and inform the authors or rights holders.
e. The payment of the awards’ prize money will be delivered 90/120 days after the end of the event.
PRIZES FOR THE 2023 EDITION
Among all the short films received, a dedicated and qualified Artistic Committee will select a limited number of finalist films which will be presented during a special evening event, scheduled to take place by the end of June 2023 within the programme of La Punta della Lingua International Poetry Festival. The Main Jury will then award the Franco Scataglini Prize to the best poetry film. The main prize for the 2023 edition will be €500. The winner will be announced during the evening event, after the screening of the selected short films.
The presence of the winning author or of a delegate cast/crew member (technical or artistic), in accordance with the possibility of travelling from their country/region during that time, is heavily encouraged for receiving the prize (presence of the winner notwithstanding, the title of winner will not be lost and remain valid).
Also to be presented to one of the finalist works will be a special Audience Award, as voted by the audience which will attend the screening.
